South West Sydney Regional Weeds Committee The South West Sydney Regional
Weeds Committee (SWSRWC) formed in 1996 to promote a cooperative and coordinated
regional approach to weed management in the region. The South West Sydney region covers approximately 178 000 Hectares and contains a wide range of land use including National Parks, rural and urban land of differing population densities. There are 6 catchments in the Region: The committee meets quarterly on the first Wednesday of February, May, August and November. The following Regional Weed Plans apply to the South West Sydney Region:
