Sydney West ~ Blue Mountains Regional Weeds Committee
The Sydney West ~ Blue Mountains
Regional Weeds Committee (SWBMRWC) formed to promote a cooperative and
coordinated regional approach to weed management in the region.
The Sydney West ~ Blue Mountains region stretches from
Auburn, Parramatta and Baulkham Hills Local Government Areas
(LGAs) in the East to Blue
Mountains in the west.
The Hawkesbury River County Council is responsible for the control and enforcement of noxious weeds in the Baulkham Hills, Blacktown, Penrith and Hawkesbury LGAs.
The committee meets quarterly on the fourth Wednesday of February, May, August and November.
