Native to Europe, Cobblers Peg is a herb up to 2m high. Mainly seen shorter in coastal areas. Found in disturbed areas exposed to full sun..

Yellow sometimes white flowers, flowering all year.

Black seeds 1cm long with forked tip.

Dispersal:
Seeds attach to clothing and fur.

Impact on Bushland:
Invades dunes, headlands and sides of tracks.

Control:

Manual: Easily pulled by hand being careful to remove roots as well.
  Seeds should be bagged and disposed of.
Chemical: Please contact your local control authority for advice on chemical control.
