Description:
Native to Madagascar, Mother of Millions is a slender erect succulent perennial with stems up to 60cm high.

Leaves have a waxy surface.

Flowers are red to orange tubes as drooping clusters at the top of the stalks, flowering May to October.

Dispersal:
Colonies spread fast as many minute plantlets on the the circumference of each leaf are able to form a new plant, when leaves break off.

Impact on Bushland:
A highly invasive weed that prevents native revegetation. Mother of Millions can grow in most soils and can withstand extremely dry periods.
